Business Team Places 3rd in Nationwide Photo Competition

Kiwication is a Year 13 business group from Otumoetai College, competing in the 2020 Young Enterprise Scheme.

This year, they will be creating a board game which they hope will educate people about New Zealand’s history and culture, and will promote the learning of Te Reo Māori.

They found that there is a lack of knowledge around New Zealand itself and that there are currently very few resources that focus on this topic which are fun for all ages but are also educational.

The team has been working very hard together during the lockdown, through Zoom meetings and other forms of online communication, to ensure that they will be able to get their business idea off the ground and turn it into a viable product in the near future.

Much to their delight, the team has recently been placed 3rd out of 188 teams in the nationwide Young Enterprise photo competition! Their creative entry is shown below.
