Looking for Community Volunteers

The Hauora Committee is looking for volunteers from the community who would be willing to give some time to supervise a breakfast club here at our Kura. We would like to trial before school and interval sessions to see what is best for the students.

Each day would involve a commitment of an hour max and would involve setting up the food, chatting with the students and tidying up. People that could do one day or more would be welcomed.

Year 12 Biology students headed out to Otanewainuku forest to explore New Zealand's unique biodiversity and native plant and animal species.

They looked into how we monitor and protect our native species, and what challenges the forests face. Our future is in good hands with this group of inspired ecologists.
