Tegan Reid wins entry to 2012 NZ Country Music Star Entertainer of the Year competition

Tegan Reid (year11) entered the New Zealand Country Music Star Awards over Labour weekend, held here at Otumoetai College. She entered 4 sections and made it through into the finals concert in 3 of these sections. The audtions were held on Saturday and the finals concert was held on Sunday at 1pm.

Tegan won the Intermediate Solo, singing Temporary Home, she won the Under 18 Gospel, singing The Potters Hand, and she was runner up in the Under 18 Western, singing The Auctioneer and as she received the highest score of the day in the Intermediate section, she then went on to win the Intermediate Overall which gives her entry into the Entertainer of The Year 2012.
