STANZA Speech Competition

20/01

The STANZA (Spanish Teachers Association of New Zealand) speech competitions were held recently.

It is a prestigious national competition that attracts a limited number of candidates due to its difficult conditions.

The students receive the topic only one week ahead of the contest. They must work independently as  teachers are not allowed to help in any way.

Congratulations to Y12 Spanish Student Caitlin Busch  who won 3rd place in the competition.

Yr 12 Spanish student Tyson Ratai also participated. His speech received very complimentary comments from the marking panel.

We are very proud of their effort which places these OTC Spanish students among the best in the country.
