Congratulations Robotics & Beach Volleyball Teams

20/02

Robotics....
The Scimmage in Auckland went well. The B team made the semi finals and the A team made 2nd place because their alliance partner (who happened to be lats year's world champs had equipment failure during the match) and we were up against the other 2 teams alone. Interestingly enough the results were so close that we all had to wait for a detailed count.
Our A team has already qualified for the world championships in the USA by virtue of the driver skills score. This score is a direct reflection of the quality of the robot and they are officially ranked 6th in the world. They are confident that they can score the same as the world's top robot but it has to be recorded officially and they plan to do that at the next meeting.
Congratulations to [A Team] Lucas de Rijk, Seamus Beedie
[B Team] Cameron Apeldoorn, Henry Shum and Kenley Cowles
